Abstract :
Public opinion and stock market sentiment analysis have been used in this paper to find a relation between public moods and the stock market. We have used twitter data for predicting public emotion and past stock values to predict stock market movements. Thus by doing so we have been successful at obtaining high accuracy and capturing large scale trends.
