Abstract :
Human computer interface has done significant advances in last few decades. One of the fantasies is an interface to the gaze of the user. This paper presents a novel method to track the gaze of the user on the computer screen. Hence, facilitating a human computer interface that takes gaze of the user as an input stimulus for performing various activities. The method employed is very cost effective as it requires things easily available. One of the main highlights of the method is that it also works effectively for people with eye defects such as squint, or with just one working eye. Not only this, the algorithm employed is also well equipped to capture the gaze of a person in different orientations, hence allowing flexibility in user´s mobility.
