Abstract
A large number of service providers are looking for a secure model that can be easily implemented in their own environments and provide a robust secure architecture against todays vulnerabilities and threats. SIP is one the most popular protocols that is used in IP multimedia subsystems and adopted by a wide level of networking vendors. This study suggests a secure distributed SIP based architecture that can be deployed in service provider data centers to maintain the service availability, security and reduce the processing on the core devices.
