Abstract
The paper is devoted to the regions of the drift approach applicability for a superpositional field movement. It is known that the magnetic field of the Earth can be considered approximately as the superposition of dipole and uniform magnetic fields. The problem concerning the dynamics of the charged particle in the magnetic field of the Earth is reduced to that of the dynamics of the charged particle in the superpositional field. The applicability regions constructed by using inequalities of weak heterogeneity are considered.
