Abstract :
Within framework of the “rigid” beam model the problem of the influence of a relativistic electron beam (REB) radius time modulation on the ion hose instability dynamics is investigated at the beam transportation in the ion focused regime. It is shown that the beam radius time profile can appreciably influence on the REB´s ion hose dynamics.
