Abstract :
Magnetic Particle Spectroscopy (MPS) is a well established method to characterize the signal strength of MPI tracers. To better understand the signal generation it is of considerable interest to identify the optimum particle size or size range causing a maximum signal. Yet, these tracers often exhibit a broad distribution of core diameters impeding an attribution of the signal strength to a specific particle size or size range. In our work, we present a combined evaluation of dynamic and static magnetization measurements to better understand the relation between particle size distribution and dynamic signal generation.
