  • Abstract
    Electro-acoustic efficiency of an underwater transducer is defined as the ratio of the acoustical radiated power to the electrical input power within a defined frequency band [3]. This measurement is important because of its significance in specifying the quality of a transducer. This paper describes the implementation of LabVIEW program and subsequent measurements undertaken in order to quantify the efficiency of a spherical omni directional underwater transducer.
