Abstract :
The determination of the isotherms of sorption is an essential stage to optimize the conditions of drying of products and give a precise information onto the hygroscopic balance. This study aims at determining experimentally the isotherms of sorption by means of the method of the solutions of saturated salts. The curves of sorption so obtained are then approached by empirical and semi-empirical models. Another experimental study is dedicated to the determination of the kinetics of drying in controllable conditions of temperature. A last experimental study consists in studying the influence of the temperature of drying on the efficiency and the quality of essential oil.
