Abstract :
Movement disorders such as Parkinson´s disease, ADHD, essential tremor disorder and restless leg syndrome can be difficult to treat due to the complexity of monitoring medication efficacy. Using our multi-sensory system for monitoring dyskinesia disorders, physicians can get insight into the everyday symptoms of their patients. The system we have designed includes an intelligent wristband that has motion sensors to collect and send high quality data of dyskinesia to an application on an Android mobile phone where our signal processing algorithms process the data to be used by physicians for remote healthcare management.
