  • Abstract
This paper presents how a developed multichannel vector network analyzer, combined with the near-field measurement method, can significantly increase the reliability of surveillance services to air traffic control, by providing a faster measurement potential of the radar antenna´s radiation pattern. A systematic radiation pattern check is vital to maintain the expected radar performance and safe operation.
