Abstract :
Mobile IPv6 can be used to deal with the move of communication nodes and network topology change of Aeronautical Telecommunication Network. HMIPv6 and FMIPv6 can improve communication quality, but the effect is limited. Through adding aircraft latitude and longitude information in addressing process, this paper presents an IPv6 addressing scheme of ATN/IPS network. When the base station receives a packet sent by aircraft, it can predict the flight path by extracting aircraft position information. Then this base station can inform the next communication base station to establish connection with mobile node in advance. Performance analysis shows that this scheme can effectively reduce the handoff delay.
