Abstract :
In order to solve the problem that the pump is not convenient to carry during the bicycle trip, a bicycle builtin pump device is introduced in this paper. The motion analysis and simulation of this device are implemented based on ADMAS. Moreover, an air valve adjusting valve is installed near the air tap of the rear-wheel to monitor the tire pressure. When the tire pressure is higher than the set pressure of the air valve, the air will be automatically released, which can ensure the safety of the tire. In the experiment, this built-in pump device needs 130 s to pump a tire (24×1.25-510 mm) from 100 kPa to 200 kPa.
