  • Abstract
    An efficient image processing algorithm for the classification of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) cells has been designed. ALL is encountered especially on children and has a high chance of treatment, yet may lead to death if not treated. The preprocessing part of the algorithm employs the Wavelet Transform technique and the classification is done using Support Vector Machines (SVMs). The results have been analyzed statistically by means of a Confusion Matrix. The rate of success has been found as 96,43%.
