Abstract
In this work, for the two-way relay channel employing physical layer network coding, mapping diversity is realized via repetitive transmission at the relay. Under time division transmission scheme, the effect of mapping diversity on overall physical layer network coded system performance is investigated and it is shown to attain lower symbol error rates within lower time slots without a change at data rate.
