Abstract :
In this paper, a method is presented to design phase lead and phase lag filters for fractional order systems. Design of the controller in the control systems could be considered as a filter design. Therefore, the methods used for the controller design can be implemented in filter design. There are two parameters to be determined while performing phase lead and phase lag filters design. In this study, the design steps which are used for the determination of these parameters are given in third section. The method has been applied to a fractional order transfer function and the results obtained were presented as graphs. The success of the method can be seen clearly from the results obtained.
