Abstract :
Single switch inverter topologies have been proposed in many studies for WPT vehicle charging applications. This paper presents a systematic evaluation of Class Φ2 resonant inverter for WPT EV charging application. An analytical model of WPT vehicle charging system has been derived based on the common load network of Φ2 inverter. The Effects of system parameters, device stress and integration with WPT systems have been discussed to evaluate the inverter operation for power delivery up to 3 kW. Simulation results have been presented and experimental prototype has been discussed.
