Abstract
This paper introduces a bifurcating streams construct as a design pattern for in hardware/software applications. Unlike the Map-Reduce construct, Delta Stream provides a recursively branching flow as a means of processing large sequentially oriented datasets, while allowing straight-forward definition of the algorithm steps.
