Abstract :
The capacity region of deterministic, half-duplex, line networks with two sources is established. Capacity is achieved with superposition coding. The main novelty is the converse proof for which a property of optimal codes is identified, namely that the symbol input to the node immediately after the second source node may as well identify the latter node´s output symbol.
