Abstract
In this paper we analyze an Iranian social network: HadiNet. This network is different from mainstream social networks due to having religious background. It was made in response to insults made by some groups to several holy figures in Shi´a. The network was supported by the government and was advertised in public. We analyze the network dynamics and the relations among its users from several points of views. First we seek to ascertain that the network´s topology conforms to the scale-free model and then study the relations among users and communities and their effects on each other. It is shown that this network is in fact very similar to other social networks in nature and the scale-free model is the best model to detail these kinds of networks regardless of the cultural or fundamental differences between them.
