Abstract :
The results of computer simulation of CT reconstruction for a system of point source - receiver plane and comparisons with existing methods of reconstruction used in third-generation scanners system have been provided. Obtained data show that the level of SNR in such a system is similar as for the third generation of scanners. Also, it is possible to reconstruct distributions not only in the plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation, but other planes without having to increase the dose for patient.
