Abstract
The use of piecewise polyline planar digital detectors for cone beam computed tomography has several advantages, compared with flat panel detector. Field of view value and energy value dependences from x-ray source-center of detector distance were reviewed in the article. Efficiency analysis of piecewise polyline planar digital detectors for cone beam tomography focusing on field of view and image brightness flatness is the subject of this article.
