Abstract :
Prediction system of electromagnetic interferences (EMI), generated by the audio class D amplifiers, is considered. It´s based on specialized software, designated to calculate and analyze of amplifier´s EMI levels at the design stage. The mathematical model of class D amplifier as a source of conducted EMI is developed. The method of measurement of stray capacitance between amplifier´s output terminals and the “ground” are suggested. Input information for calculation may be obtained from the reference data or by measurements. The System of EMI Prediction provides sufficient accuracy for preliminary EMI levels assessments.
