Abstract :
In this paper the energy performance investigation of analog and digital power factor correction average current control is made. In MATLAB/Simulink environment models corresponding to each control system were developed. Functional circuit diagrams, input current charts and load voltage charts of each corrector are given. Power factor correctors energy performance under the nominal load condition, under reduced and increased load resistance was researched.
