  • Abstract
    This paper presents a novel design of the cavity combline resonator. The resonator shows an extremely high sensitivity to the air gap thickness and high-Q performance. The design is well suited for electromechanical tuning. The results of the finite integration technique simulations are discussed. The influence of the resonator dimensions on the frequency tuning efficiency and the Q factor are presented.
