Abstract
Massive open online courses (MOOCs) offer new opportunities for both students and instructors, but their design and purpose distinguish them in significant ways from on-campus classes. The Web extra at http://youtu.be/SQ0HXfB8Q1w is a video segment of Charles Severance\´s "Grand Finale" lecture for the Internet History, Technology, and Security Coursera Course, in which he discusses survey data taken during the course, student performance throughout the course, maps of student locations around the world, and where the students went to school.
