  • Abstract
    Portable millimeter wave imaging systems are desired in many nondestructive testing and imaging applications. Interferometry-based instruments have shown to produce three-dimensional holographic images when proper phase referencing is implemented. This paper introduces the design of an interferometry-based wideband, and low-cost reflectometer capable of producing holographic three-dimensional millimeter wave images. Analysis of sources of image errors, and three-dimensional synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image examples are presented at Ka-band (26.5-40 GHz), V-band (50-75 GHz) and W-band (75-110 GHz).
