Abstract
This paper describes the methodology used and the results found in a spectrum measurement campaign, held in the city of Bogotá in Colombia, it took place during seventeen months, from March 2012 to July 2013, these data were collected from different frequency bands in order to evaluate the performance for different services, it was concluded that there is under-utilization of this resource, given the current fixed allocation scheme and reveals the need to implement dynamic spectrum access technologies as cognitive radio.
