Abstract :
This article presents a compilation of patents and papers focusing on the capture, control and monitoring of physical data measured from a stationary bike and from physiological variables of people who practice indoor cycling. These developments will serve as an input for the research and achievement of the Macro Project called “Platform for capture, control and monitoring of physical and physiological variables of indoor and outdoor cycling”, proposed by the Software Research Group (GIS) of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia, with the purpose of providing a technological tool useful for practitioners and trainers to perform the best training programs according to users needs.
