  • Abstract
This study deals with application of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) numerical methods to design of components of wind tunnels. In this study, a rectangular nozzle section of a circular wind tunnel located at Department of Air Force and Aircraft Technology was chosen for the analysis. ANSYS Fluent was used to depict and analyze velocity profiles leaving the nozzle as main air flow inputs into a test section. These velocity profiles were depicted in several cross-sections near nozzle outlet. Also an influence of nozzle outlet extension on velocity profiles leaving the nozzle was evaluated. To be able to verify CFD data, also an experimental measurement has been carried out.
