Abstract :
The article deals with the blind spots of trucks, the mirror equipment of older and newer trucks and the risks of accidents due to the blind spots. An experiment was made with trucks Tatra T 810 V and Tatra T 815 with a goal to describe the visible spots and blind spots of the driver. The blind spots next to the right door of the vehicles and in front of the vehicles were measured. The results are important for understanding the danger of blind spots of trucks and for analysis of car accidents with trucks.
