Abstract :
In the present paper, following Jeffery [6] and Rarity [18] an attempt has been made to obtain the initial time and distance at which the jump discontinuity first appears on the wave front in the case of steady fluid with several state variables in two dimensional steady supersonic flow. The result corresponding to two energy modes dissociation and vibrational are also obtained and discussed.
