Abstract :
Cluster computing is an emergent platform for high performance computing to minimize work completion time. Cluster computing is group of among similar tasks to reduce communication cost and minimize application finish time. Scheduling techniques such as random list generation, duplication and dynamic scheduling used to identify and schedule similar tasks and independent tasks to improve resource utilization and minimize makespan. Numbers scheduling algorithm already proposed on cluster computing for high performance. This paper reviews of scheduling algorithms and discussion about scheduling techniques on cluster computing for utilization and high performance. The paper proposed swarm technique for task scheduling on clusters to improve utilization and produce better results.
