Abstract :
General Motors Corporation which is the first company used the rapid quenching technique to prepare the NdFeB powder whit the nanocrystalline structure. Now, the single roller melt-spinning method which is widely used to prepare the NdFeB powder has become one of the research hot spots of magnetic materials today. In this paper, the numerical simulation model of single roller melt-spinning for ejection process of NdFeB alloy was built and the vacuum chamber cooling roller and sample were taken into account as a holistic system. We had study on the melt spinning ribbons with the different roller speed. The technical parameters is that the pressure is 0.06Mpa and the quartz tube with a mouth diameter of 1 mm, a nozzle height of 3 mm, a roller speed of 15-45 m/s and a vacuum of less than 1×10-2 Pa. In the numerical simulation, we used the NdFeB liquid density about 6 .94 kg/m3 and the viscosity of is 1 .4 pa * s at 1301.
