Abstract :
A quantitative study of the in-plane magnetic anisotropy in a single-crystalline double wedge type Fe/NiO bilayer which is related to its exchange coupling is reported in this article. The ferromagnetic-antiferromagnetic bilayer is grown epitaxially on MgO substrate by molecular beam epitaxy. Measurement of the in-plane magnetic anisotropy is performed using the magneto-optical Kerr effect with a rotating field.
