Abstract
Magnetic materials with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy have received much attention due to its advantages in the application of spintronics devices, such as high integration density and low damping constant. For the aim of low-power operation, electrical manipulation of the magnetism is in urgent need, and much progress has been achieved such as the electrical switching of FeCo and CoFeB ultrathin magnetic films. In this digest, the electric field effects on the magnetism of Heusler alloy Co2FeAl0.5Si0.5 ultrathin films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy have been investigated.
