Abstract :
Magnetization reversal switching mechanism is studied in this article by introducing sector notch asymmetry in elliptic Co rings. Simulations are performed with 3D object-oriented micromagnetic framework and solved in a cubic mesh. Results show that magnetization reversal is dominated by the formation and propagation of domain walls and the annihilation of localized vortex states.
