Abstract :
Many pipelines are used to transfer steam or coolants in a nuclear power plant or a thermal power plant . A novel magnetic actuator that is capable of inspection in a pipe of inner diameter 45 mm was suggested by the authors [1] . However, the motion principle is not completely established . In addition, this magnetic actuator had a big shape . This paper proposes a new type of magnetic actuator capable of inspection in a complex pipe with an inner diameter from 30 to 40 mm by drive of twin vibration components .
