Abstract :
Magnetic skyrmion is a stable magnetization configuration with integer topological number which has recently been found in materials with broken inversion symmetry. Its most regarded property is that it is able to move under very low applied current due to its topological stability. However, it has also been shown that under the application of current, the skyrmion is deflected from the intended direction due to the presence of Magnus force, which makes controlling the movement of a skyrmion a challenge.
