Abstract :
In this paper, a kind of segmental stator DS-LFRPM (SSDS-LFRPM) motor will be proposed. The electromagnetic performance of the SSDS-LFRPM motor will be calculated by finite-element analysis (FEA), and compared with the basic DS-LFRPM motor. Finally, the cost of both motors will be calculated also.
