Abstract :
Herein we report a one-step solid-phase synthesis of homogenous 12 nm CoPt@C NPs with single crystal and L10 structure . This process involves simultaneous decomposition of precursors of Co(acac)2 and Pt(acac)2 and sintering at high temperature under solid phase condition . The growth mechanism was deeply investigated by TEM . Evolution of the core-shell structure during the synthesising process is clearly observed and presented . Its growth mechanism is through particle/ cluster to particle/cluster, which is different from the widely accepted OR(Osterwald Ripening) and OA(Oriented Attachment) in solution phase growth. This solid-phase synthesis of nanoparticles and its growth mechanism are new and very useful in the field of nano-synthesis.
