Abstract :
This paper describes an in situ magnetization and demagnetization system which can be used in the scanning SQUID microscope. By using the same coil, the system can produce both magnetization and demagnetization fields. The system allows for more flexible operation and less complicated procedures compared to the existing magnetization and demagnetization devices. The experimental results show that the design is reasonable and feasible.
