Abstract :
This paper introduces characteristic of the WRSM considering magnetic saturation in the electrical steel. Especially, d-axis inductance of WRSM vary non-linearly due to the magnetic saturation. So, it is important to find appropriate current combinations for MTPA control of WRSM. 140kW class WRSM is designed for traction motor and output characteristics are analyzed using FE analysis.
