Abstract
Previously, an interface was designed and implemented for researchers and clinicians to review data from a Kinect depth camera positioned in the homes of seniors. This interface is complicated with small controls and represents data in a technical manner that elderly users find difficult to manage. Here, we describe a redesigned interface specifically for elderly users with sensory limitations. The interface includes data visualization, simple layouts, large control buttons, and bandwidth detection for adaptive image resolution.
