Abstract :
In e-learning, learning materials are provided to learner through electronic media. But making an efficient learning environment and providing on-line learning material to its learner according to their requirement is a greatest challenge. To reduce above challenge learning style as well as cognitive traits is there. Hence to make learning efficient learning style and cognitive trait of student is to be known first. This paper describes how the cognitive trait such as inductive reasoning ability along with learning style helps to improve the learning process. In this paper we try to find out the relationship between learning preference of the student and their inductive reasoning ability so that a good adaptive would be developed and explain in what way e-learning courses would be developed so that it may suit the characteristics of the learner.
