Abstract
Energy Conservation takes a critical point in deciding the profit cost of any product. However the concept of energy auditing or energy conservation potential study in Rural Industry not fetched because of lack of awareness. This study aims in studying the unorganized Rural Industry - Coir Industry about their power consumption and saving potential. Online Power analyzer, Thermal Imager has been used. Form the analysis it was found that unbalanced loading was there. By proper sequencing the balancing of loading has been achieved it not only reduces the power but also reducing the power factor penalty.
