  • Abstract
Increase of mechanical immunity of LV cables wrapped around the steel tape and with the final plastic coating can achieve a significant reduction in the likelihood of failure caused by improper / negligent installation and the occurrence of unforeseen mechanical factors. For cables with internal sealed a three-phase system, it may be a good choice. Substantial problems may arise when single-core cable system is armored. Customer may by entice by easier installation - especially in larger dimensions, but he may be a backfire in operation. What are the possible impacts and consequences, here are supported by results of measurements in this paper.
