Abstract :
The surface of the oil spill location and track prediction had been widely attention. In this paper, we propose the time of arrival (TOA) algorithm based on the weighted least squares method to locate pollution points with known nodes and unknown nodes. When the oil film moving with current and the wind, combined with the oil film equations of motion, the Kalman filter is adopted to the oil film position to predict the future movement. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the method proposed.
