  • Abstract
    Statistical control charts are widely used for monitoring in industrial manufacturing, so this paper attempts to apply the typical statistical control chart, c-chart, to monitor the health status. Specifically, the statistical control charts is used to monitor the health status, and the failure trend analysis is applied to forecast the future health trend. In order to illustrated the effectiveness of this method, a case study is carried out with using the repair cost data set of a bus fleet with 22 buses.
