Abstract
The paper focuses on the stock model for goods of non-instantaneous metamorphism. The demand is decided by stock and lags behind shortage, in other words, backlog rate. However, backlog rate is some kind of non-increasing function to calculate the replenishment time. Therefore, the paper puts forward an optimal model for replenishment strategy, figures out solutions to handling stock and replenishment and analyzes the sensitivity of each parameter based on numerical analysis.
