Abstract :
This article focuses on the use of Information and Communication Technologies in education aimed at learning process. The purpose of this article is to address the resources offered by social networks, which can be used by the teacher in the teaching process to stimulate the student to study. The methodology of this study is a literature review that shows the trend of increasing use of the Internet including social networks, promoting reflection on the impact of these resources on society, culture and education. In conclusion of this reflection can design that among the new pedagogical strategies to be used by teachers to motivate students to study are social networks, specifically Facebook and the challenge is to train teachers to work with this feature productively.
